Goodbye Turquoise, hello Honeysuckle! Each year the go-to source for the trendiest of colors, Pantone, chooses a color of the year – this year a luscious shade of intense reddish pink called Honeysuckle has replaced last year’s top hue, Turquoise. You can easily bring this uplifting and bright pretty in pink color into your life through clothing, accessories, makeup and as a bold accent to your home décor. With the inspirational pink ribbon symbolizing breast cancer awareness nearly everywhere worldwide, it was only a matter of time before this ultimate girl power color which has come to represent strength, survival, compassion, unity and love received its due respect.

In alignment with Presence II Productions commitment to excellence, one of our very favorite breast cancer organizations is The Pink Fund (www.thepinkfund.org) locally based in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The mission of The Pink Fund is to provide short-term financial aid to help breast cancer patients in need who are in active treatment for and recovery from breast cancer so they can focus on healing instead of finances. This worthwhile organization embodies the true spirit of pink by assisting numerous Michigan breast cancer patients and their families. The former Miss Michigan and now Miss USA Rima Fakih proudly serves as The Pink Funds’ Ambassador and puts a national spotlight on their admirable mission. With spring finally in the air, it’s the perfect time to be courageous and confident and Think Pink. How will you rock the beauty and spirit of pink in your life this year?

One of the many wonderful things about living in Michigan is the glorious changing of the seasons. While winter certainly has its beauty and purpose, by this time in April we’re all more than ready to shed some layers and openly embrace the rebirth of the natural elements all around us.
